Search around and you'll see ceramic coating quoted anywhere from 150 KM to over 600 KM, which makes it look like some shops are ripping people off. Usually the real difference is what's actually included. A 150 KM quote is often just the product applied straight onto whatever condition the paint is already in, no decontamination, no correction, no real prep. A proper package always includes assessing and correcting the paint first, because any swirl or contamination present when the coating goes on gets sealed in permanently.

That's the real reason our starting price sits at 300 KM rather than lower: it reflects a job done with the prep it actually needs, not a stripped-down version that looks cheaper on paper and coats over problems instead of fixing them.

Vehicle size is the most straightforward factor: a hatchback has less surface area to prepare and coat than an SUV or van, so labour and product both scale up with size.

Paint condition matters more than most people expect. A car with existing swirl marks, light oxidation, or years of accumulated contamination needs a correction stage before coating, which is real additional work, not an upsell. A car that's already been well maintained needs less of it.
