Ceramic Coating
Semi-permanent paint protection with a depth of gloss that wax simply cannot match.
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds chemically to your vehicle's clear coat when applied correctly. Once it cures, it becomes a hard, slick, hydrophobic layer sitting on top of the paint. It protects against UV rays, acid rain, bird dropping etching, road salt, and light scratches. It is not a wax. It does not wash off in the rain and does not need to be reapplied every few months.
A properly applied ceramic coating typically lasts two to five years or more depending on the product grade and how the vehicle is maintained. During that period, washing is significantly easier because water beads and rolls off the surface rather than sheeting across it and drying as water spots. Bird droppings and other contaminants sit on the surface rather than bonding to the paint, making them easier to remove before they cause etching damage.
The finish a ceramic coating produces is something most people have not seen unless they have looked at a coated car in person. The depth and clarity it adds to properly corrected paint is distinctly different from what wax or a paint sealant can produce. It gives the paint a wet, almost three-dimensional look under light that reflects what the colour is actually capable of.
The preparation before coating is the most important part of the job. Any swirls, scratches, or contamination present in the paint when the coating goes on are sealed there permanently. Removing them later means cutting through the ceramic layer first, which is expensive and difficult. This is why our ceramic coating packages always include a preparation stage with paint correction where the paint needs it. Coating over uncorrected paint is a mistake we do not make.
After coating, the vehicle needs to stay dry during the initial cure window. We will tell you exactly what to avoid and for how long. After that, normal washing resumes. The long-term result is a vehicle that is genuinely easier to keep clean, with paint that holds its appearance far longer than an unprotected surface.
How It Works
Paint Assessment
Paint inspected under lighting. Defects identified and the level of correction needed before coating is determined.
Paint Correction
Swirls, scratches, and other defects removed from the paint. The surface is brought to the best possible condition before coating.
Panel Degreasing
Every panel wiped with a panel prep solution to remove all polish residue and oils. Zero contamination before the coating goes on.
Ceramic Application
Coating applied panel by panel in a clean environment, leveled and checked, then allowed to flash and begin bonding.
Initial Cure
Vehicle kept away from water and washing during the cure window. Full bonding instructions given at handover.
